Miss Cavanagh erected the two-storey brick warehousein 1904. The architect was J. Edmund Burke and the builder F. B. Sewell of Stanley Street, Elsternwick. The three bay facade is articulated by giant stylised brick piers supporting a flat entablature. The bays formed by these piers are almost fully glazed and are crowned by recessed arches.
